Last Saturday, I went on ebay and did a quick search for a 50 inch plasma. Earlier in the day, my cousin was saying I should “step it up” from my 26″ CRT HDTV that I currently have.
So I placed a bid of $460 ona 50″ Akai PDP5016H for $460 with a couple minutes left, and won it.
I’m going to pick it up tomorrow; unfortunately it doesn’t include a remote – but I’ll come prepared with my logitech harmony 550 programmed for that tv. We’ll see how it works…
The auction did say the tv had a minor rub mark on the screen – hopefully it doesn’t piss me off too much.
