Too many times have I heard the word virus for computing’s many problems. I am not a mathematician, (like the dude from jeopardy that calculated the odds of a three way tie are 1 in 25 million) but perhaps 9 out of 10 times it’s NOT a virus… IMO….
For example, i’ve been running win xp for years on one box…. Guess what… problems…. for example, explorer crashing is a major problem. Is it the activity of virii? Certainly not! It’s the work of the OS itself, screaming “reload me, format my hard drive and start fresh!” Will I do it? Ahh… someday, I suppose.
